- Do I need an account to summarize a URL?
- No. Paste a link on this page. You only need an account if you want a personal bookmark library on linkwise.link.
- Is this a read-it-later app?
- No. Observer previews what a page is about. It does not store the full article for offline reading. If you need a reading queue, use a reader; if you need to find related sites later, use LinkWise.
- Why are there ads?
- Ads help keep URL previews free. They appear only between substantial editorial sections, away from the URL form and generated result. We do not sell your pasted URLs as a marketing list.
- What data is sent when I paste a link?
- The URL is sent to our extract API so we can fetch public metadata and generate a summary. We do not require your name or email for a preview. See the Privacy policy on linkwise.link for the full notice.
- How is this different from browser bookmarks?
- Browser folders only help if you remember the path. Observer answers “what is this URL?” LinkWise answers “find this topic again” using keywords you confirm and, on Pro, search by meaning.
